dining at ditka's

i like me a consistent brand experience. so when i was at ditka's this week, i had no problem with the overusage of ditka-ness, right down to the prices which all either end in 89 (his playing number) or 63 (his rookie year). and my personal favorite was finding a football-shaped indentation carved into the bottom of my beer mug. but all this went down the drain with the music. according to shazam (the iPhone app, not the underappreciated TV show), the song that was playing when i came in was "The Gift" by Jim Brickman. this isn't the official video for the song, but it might as well be. all that branding for naught.
