cold beer, warm blankets

sometimes, the best thing a marketer can do is the exact opposite of what's expected. enter: the beer blanket. with the exception of the brits, most people like their beer cold. which is why this cinco de mayo promotion caught my eye. (full disclosure: it caught my eye as i was sipping margaritas.) it's cheesy, sure. but it seems right for the brand. and at least this bar promo is better than their website, where the latest (and only) news item is... they have a new website.
