being the brand

i had a meeting yesterday at the offices of google. (that's not my picture, but it's the one i would've taken if my phone wasn't dead.) i love seeing the offices of brands i admire, because almost to a fault, the office environments seem to epitomize the brands themselves.

at google, it was, of course, PrimaryColorVille. the wallpaper featured some of the iterations of the google logo. (here are some holiday versions.) the best part, however, was in the cafeteria. hamburgers were on the menu, and posted nearby were facts about the hamburger. i figured the information had to be found from googling "facts about hamburgers" and for the second time in my life, i was right.

it was a perfect touch for the brand.
