signage is finally showing up locally for the catchily-named american recovery and reinvestment act. and like all obama projects, this one is smartly marketed. the logo for the project was done by some exceptionally talented chicagoans, steve juras of mode and chris glass of chris glass, as well as the seemingly-chicagoan-at-heart aaron draplin of draplin industries. and the website follows the usual obama format as well - clean, easy-to-navigate, and frequently updated.
while the ultimate success of the act won't hinge on how well-designed the logo is, the smart, professional design at least helps communicate things are being done thoughtfully.
