damn

i hate it when good creative talent leaves chicago. so it was tough to say adios last week to a designer/art director/great guy chris berry.

i'd mentioned chris the other day in the post about Forts! at the chicago children's museum. if you're allergic to links, i'll just repeat chris' brag points because, knowing him, he'll never brag himself. chris is the principal of I Like You Graphik and founder/president of Ivory High Rise. he's now available for hire, freelance and bar mitzvahs.

as an adios, i'm posting a couple spots from a TV campaign he and his equally nice, equally talented copywriting partner natalie taylor created earlier this year on behalf of Party Blvd., the finest party store in all of Asheville, NC. i was the creative director which, in this case, basically meant staying the hell out of the way. (that's sometimes what happens when you hire great people.) the campaign stars Burro, voiced by chris, and was shot and edited by the also nice, also talented judah switzer.
