strength in colors
the backlash against the consumerism of Pink for October started long ago (see think before you pink). but as a marketing guy, i remain so very impressed with how pronounced the color pink becomes every october for breast cancer awareness month. moving the symbolism from a pink ribbon to the color pink overall gives the movement countless forms it can take. this year in the nfl alone, there are everything from pink cleats to gloves to hats to wristbands. just a smart, smart effort.
