who here is named chicago?

i took this picture not for the hottie in the window, but because of the type ON the window.

no, really.

i've never understood the logic of marketers thinking they'll make a personal connection with their audience by calling them by the 8,489 square mile metropolitan area where they live. it has always seemed disingenuous. and now, as marketing communications have continued to get more customized, it seems completely out of touch - even with the hottie.
