poignant moment in lincoln square

i can't believe no one's written about this before - just east of western avenue near foster, there's a whole block dedicated to a holocaust memorial. it is truly stirring. hundreds of rectangular concrete slabs, and paths in between. the paths are of varying heights, so as you walk along a path, you go deeper down until the bustle of the neighborhood is lost. it's disorienting and haunting and really, truly powerful.
