on being followed

yesterday, i wrote about an interview i did for another blog. (i'd link, but i can't seem to find it. apologies.) in the first answer i gave, i referenced a URL i had looked up (AnalogyMaker.com) to see if it was registered. unlike everything else in the interview, that part was true. i really did go to Register.com to see if it was available.

it was. and apparently, it still is.

this banner ad recently appeared on a site I was visiting:
one can make an argument that using a banner ad as a follow up to an online inquiry is both smart and relevant. and maybe someday, i'll feel that way as well.

in the meantime, i'm going to check under my bed to make sure Register.com is not hiding there.
