fun with the press

one of the many ongoing challenges i have is to see how ridiculous of a quote i can work into media coverage. and while i've achieved some admirable ones, all mine pale in comparison to the one by andrew mason this morning. andrew is the CEO of Groupon, widely believed to be on the verge of being sold to Google. when asked about the deal by the New York Times, andrew said, "i will only talk if you want to talk about my other passion, building miniature dollhouses."

selling a company for a few billion dollars is nice, of course. but offering quotes about miniature dollhouses along the way? now that's impressive.
